Harvey used to be a very handsome, late 40s, early 1950s jointed blue mohair bear. Sadly someone has tried to restore him, in good faith, but his thick flossed stitched nose is far too big, and his plastic eyes are far too small, and should be glass. His rexine paw and foot pads have however been restored sympathetically. He is 20″ tall and firmly stuffed, and still.has his original growler which works every so often but sounds more like a hoarse cough!! His blue mohair is painfully thin and very pale now but the original shade of blue of his mohair can still be seen at his joints. His fabric is sturdy and strong with no rips or damage and he smells clean and fresh. He wears a lovely old nautical sailor jacket. Once restored more sympathetically he would make an adorable addition to any old toy collection.
