This is an exceptionally rare blue mohair Merrythought teddy bear with his celluloid wishbone button and early Merrythought label to his left foot pad.
This gorgeous 1930’s teddy bear is is excellent, virtually mint condition and is a real find. I have not seen a blue mohair Merrythought teddy dating as early as this one, and in this exceptional condition, for many years.
This beautiful Merrythought blue bear has distinctive web claws stitching and all other original features, and I do not see any repairs or replacements.
His growler/squeaker mechanism no longer works.
Otherwise this fabulous teddy is practically good as new, but please view all of the images as these will be the most helpful part of the item description and condition report.
