Very old straw filled bear. He is 16 inches tall and has a lot of characteristics of an early Farnell bear although he could be German from the shape and style. He is made from good quality mohair and is straw filled throughout. He has really really long arms and a humped back. There is a bit of damage to his snout and his nose stitching is very worn. His eyes are wooden boot buttons, and there feels to be a growler inside him but it doesn’t work. His final seam is on his front,which is peculiar to Steiff, Bing and Farnell bears. His felt pads have been replaced and there doesn’t appear to be any claw stitching but it could have worn away.
He really is a smashing fellow and is looking for a good home.
