Gretel- 1940/50 PETZ Old Teddy Bear ~ Antique ~ in Vintage Clothes
This is Gretel. She’s a lovely brightly coloured ted. She was made by the German company Petz and dates to around the 1940’s-50. She is 13.5 inches tall, fully jointed and completely stuffed with woodwool. She’s in all lovely condition; original attractive glass eyes (with green behind the black), original facial stitching, original claw stitching, original felt pads. She has a lovely broad shape to her and an excellent coverage of bright clean mohair.She’s pictured here with her little girl Heidi who’s also looking for a new home.Gretel is such a lovely appealing old teddy, and I love her vintage dress and lace wrap!
