Freddie Farnell is an adorable blend of cute and handsome! An original Farnell, I think from the 1930s, he is in very good condition, with a good covering of soft white blonde mohair and original nose and mouth stitching on his wonderful little upturned snout! His neat little clear glass eyes have some of their painted backs intact and suit his diminutive size of just 10.5″. Freddie is 5-way jointed and stuffed with straw and kapok, with an inoperative growler in his tum. He has felt pads with original claw stitching (one pad shows the straw) and a previous owner’s label stitched onto one of his feet – a nice little piece of history! He really is a lovely example of Farnell’s Classic traditional old teddy bear who is nice and clean and from a smoke-free home. He will travel to his new home wearing his old red fisherman’s jumper.
