Edward is Large Vintage 1920/1930 Chad Valley Teddy Bear. Edward measures a large 25″ from the tips of his ears to the tips of his toes. Dear Edward has his original black and topaz glass eyes which give him a wistful expression. Black embroidered nose. Fur thinning and bald in places but I think this only adds to his character – he is a very old boy after all. Lovely saggy tummy which all old Chad Valley’s have. No rips or tears.
Edward has his original working growler ( which is now like a burp) and his original button in his ear.
A really lovely old bear which is highly collectable and a real treasure for future generations!
