Antique Straw Filled Panda. Renovation Project. Condition is Used. Dispatched with Royal Mail 2nd Class.
Thoroughly well loved and thoroughly worn out panda in desperate need of TKC.When I discovered this fellow recently, he was curiously covered in acrylic white fur (loosely). Please see last photo.A hunch suggested to me that something more interesting was underneath, so I released the tacking threads and found this chap underneath.Someone really wanted to preserve him but as the photos show, he is in a terrible state with his entire front torso / panel being threadbare with kapok spilling out and one arm hanging limply.He has four fabric paw pads (one of which is paisley fabric), one a curtain fabric and the other two plain.His ears are wonky and threadbare he is eyeless and his nose and mouth are in poor condition too.The back of his torso , legs and arms are in decent order as is the head, except for the hole where the wood straw stuffing is visible and his larger ear is coming off.He has a distinct old bear aroma!Can anyone rescue and renovate this old boy?He had a pair of homemade woollen dungarees (a bit holey ) which Ill include too.Approximately 40cm tall.
