Early antique vintage old hump back teddy bear – German.
Lovely early German teddy bear, fully jointed (firmly attached but rather loose nowadays) and all original, apart from restitched nose. Black claws, glass eyes. Non working clunky growler in tummy. Very large humped back.Made from very bright gold coloured mohair, typical of early German teddy bear makers. Mohair rather sparse nowadays, but a very unusual teddy.
Condition is “Used”.
Measures approx. 44cm/17 in height.
