This is a very sweet early Farnell bear, dating to c. 1920. He is an unusually small bear at approx 11.5 inches tall, and I have photographed him next to a roll of kitchen paper to give people an idea of his overall size. He is fully jointed. His condition is commensurate with his age, with some minor restoration as follows:
He has replacement paw pads, and possibly eyes (which are glass). There may have been a couple of stitches near his nose and also securing an ear seam. There are a couple of very small stitches near his paw pad. He also has some shifting of stuffing in his head. He has a smattering of fur left, possibly about 25%. He will be boxed and well protected for travel to his new owner.
Thank you for looking.
