Eadie -1920s Farnell? Brown Alpaca Teddy Bear TLC, Old, Antique, Vintage Dress
Hello from Eadie. She’s a very sweet typically 1920’s Teddy Bear. By looking at the stature – hump, big snout and limb shape, and the fact she has alpaca fur I believe she is likely a Farnell Ted. She does also have a very Bing like look to her with her big nose and coloured felt pads?!She stands around 19inches tall, is fully jointed and stuffed mainly with kapok (and a little woodwool). Eadie would benefit from some tlc – one hand pad needs recovering and her top of her arm would benefit from a few stitches, and has had the ankle restitched round on one leg, as photographed) but this doesn’t take away from her being such a lovely ted. Eadie has replacement eyes, original warm brown felt pads, original facial and claw stitching and she is covered in the rare fur covering of brown alpaca. She is dressed in a beautiful antique dress with hair ribbon, and is a such a lovely ted either sitting in a spot on her own, or amongst a hug.Eadie likes to spend her time pottering in the sunshine, and sometimes gets up to no good rummaging in the mint and sniffing the flowers … do you have a little spot in your home for this inquisitive ted?As mentioned below, layaway may be possible, please contact me using the business seller information at the bottom of the page. xPlease note the photographs form part of the description so please study them carefully.
