A lovely old Chiltern bear called Dilys – she has a very determined face – some might say bossy looking! She is 15 inches tall & fully jointed with a non-working growler – she is completely straw stuffed. She has original linen pads with a few small holes to them but perfectly serviceable. She retains a good covering of mohair – about 70% – but it has gone a little grey with age. She has original nose & mouth stitching with replacement eyes. Dilys is a good, strong bear – lots of character – & she will be sent wearing her dress & finery including the lucky three pence she came with. A lovely old Chiltern in need of a home xxx
Please be aware I am a lover of the tattier old teds with oodles of character so bear this mind before buying – no bear will be perfect – far from it – but I guarantee they are all perfectly adorable. I try to list every bear accurately – if there is anything I forget I can only apologise – I try to put plenty of photos up so please take a good look as these form part of the description. I happily post overseas but anything over 40 in value HAS to be tracked hence overseas postage may seem a a lot – if postage is less than quoted I will happily refund the difference.
