This beautiful little antique teddy bear is almost certainly an Omega, and he is possibly a bit earlier than the 1920’s date which I have suggested.
I say this because of his boot button eyes and his rather unusual pin and metal disk joints. These suggest a slightly earlier date, and that he was possibly made during a time when materials were hard to come by.
Either way, this gorgeous old bear is very old, and I think also, a quite special teddy bear.
As you see, he has a pronounced hump to his back, has retained most of his original features, with just some mohair loss and a few minor flaws.
But most of all, he has the most appealing, endearing expression to his face, which makes him look as though he is smiling!
