Cute little 1950’s miniature character sailor teddy bear.
This cute and tubby little bear dates to circa 1950’s possibly 60’s and I have no idea who made him but he is quite a character. He is just 4.5″ tall and five ways jointed, so he can be nicely posedand is very hard stuffed with wood wool or similar. He is wearing a sailors tabard and cap and hastiny glass eyes and red felt spots attached to his ears and a cute little upturned nose. He also hasa good coverage of his white mohair with a bald area on his back and spots on his feet but I would estimate he has retained roughly 80% of his plush. He is a little play worn as you might expect but no serious damages and he would make a great companion to sit in the lap of a larger bear.
