Chiltern Teddy Bear For Repair. 1930s,once Blue. Antique/vintage/old..Once lovely Chiltern Teddy bear, measuring 13. Faint traces of blue remain to his mohair mainly on the back.He is in a sorry state. Lost his nose stuffing and most of the stitching. Only half of one of his glass eyes remains. Upper paw pads worn. – they were originally velvet. Foot pads non existent. I think he would have had card lined feet originally. Wear to his nose and on his front where his squeaker has been pressed. Face mainly bald. 50% coverage of mohair to front, very good coverage at the back. Long arms with long tapered paws., drumstick shaped legs.He has obviously been a great favourite of some child long ago.
