Chad Valley Antique Bear (Sailor Bertie) Circa 1940’s. Just over 21″ Tall, he has 3 replaced paw pads, his foot label is still visible but the writing has now worn away, he does have a little label in his side confirming he is a Chad Valley. His nose stitching looks original, he has overall wear and some bald patches especially his right arm and face. His head feels to be straw filled and the rest of the body sub filled. The sub has moved a little at the top of both of his arms I guess through being carried by his previous little owners! He still gives a little growl when turned just to let you know he can! I’ve given him a light surface clean but he still looks a bit scruffy, however he is an old bear and showing his age now. He gets along with other bears and dolls very well and would fit in with any collection. He comes in his sailor hat and jacket, any questions please ask. From a pet and smoke free home.
