vintageteddybear@outlook.comor Tel 01260 640288 This stunning 1950s Steiff is for sale and is in excellent condition – he is an all original, antique 20 inch chunky German Steiff mohair Teddy Bear, he really is in stunning condition for his age and he dates back to 1950s.
This is an exceptionally handsome bear – he measures 20 inches standing, 15 inches in seated position and is in excellent clean condition throughout – please see photos.
He comes from a pet free, smoke free home.
This bear does have his Steiff button in his ear, which is great as many were removed when bought and he is sold with a guarantee to be 100% Steiff. He is made from a really nice top quality grade of mohair, slightly longer than the short haired Steiff bears – it is quite thick and very wavy and is a stunning light soft gold colour – he has 99% mohair coverage – please see photos.
He is fully jointed – all his joints are in good working order – there are no loose ones so he sits perfectly – there are no rips or tears to the mohair fabric and he is 100% straw filled.
He has the most handsome face with his original Steiff glass eyes and original embroidered nose. Teddy’s paw and foot pads are all original and in good condition.
Ted comes with his very attractive hand made velvet waistcoat( Please note all accessories on all the bears are for show and all can easily be removed if you so desire ). He will be sent out by courier on a next day delivery.
