OLD STEIFF LEOPARD – OCELOT CAT 1960’sReally beautiful old Steiff Leopard or Ocelot cat from the 1960’s. He has real stitched claws, mohair fur, is made laying down, unjointed, glass eyes, whiskers, length from front paw to end of his back is 13″ (33cm) height to top of his head is 6″ (15cm) Some age wear to his fur he looks an old cat now but a real character, see photos they are part of our description. He has lost his button in ear and ID now. He still has very good vivid airbrush markings and colouring to his mohair coat and is very lifelike.

Overall this bear is very grubby and needs a good clean.

VINTAGE 1930s/40s 22″ ENGLISH JOINTED MOHAIR TEDDY BEAR GLASS EYES WEBBED CLAWS

VINTAGE 1930s/1940s LARGE 22″ ENGLISH JOINTED MOHAIR TEDDY BEARThis lovely vintage bear has no maker’s marks or labels, but he has the characteristics of a English bear, and is possibly made by Merrythought or Farnell. He has mohair fur with replacement fabric pads and a pronounced shaven muzzle. He has glass eyes, a black (faded) stitched nose and mouth, and black claw stitching to his feet and hands. He has webbed hand claws. He is fully jointed. He is hard stuffed and wearing a bowtie around his neck – we do not believe this is original. We believe him to date from the 1930s/1940s.Condition: Overall in very good condition, with some playwear consistent with age and use. His mohair fur is thinning in places and a little faded. The orange part of his glass eyes has deteriorated. He shows signs of restoration and repair – we believe his pads to be replacements and there are some signs of re-stitching.
