Meet Sammy, a lovely vintage teddy bear, who is 20 tall. He was sold to me as a Schuco bear, but I dont know his age – looking at wear and his painted glass eyes, Id say 1930s – 40s? Quite a bit of the paint has worn away from his clear glass eyes. He has some of his pale blond mohair remaining, but has quite a lot of bald areas. His foot pads are in a darker, shorter brown shaven mohair and are in pretty good condition. Very usually, he has a little round button tail! He has a pointed snout and his nose and mouth stitching have been re-done at some point – not sure if the light brown is the original colour. He has a working growler. He is fully jointed and everything is moving smoothly. He is solidly stuffed throughout (feels like wood wool) and has quite short arms and legs, which are quite chunky. Sammy is a lovely bear who is looking for a new home.Really sorry, will only post within the UK. Am putting 8.95 on for postage, as he is quite heavy, but if its any less, I will refund the difference.
