Betty is a beautiful old Chad Valley Bear Magna Bear – she has her original Hygienic Toys red print foot label and dates to the 20’s. She is 19 inches tall, fully jointed and a mix of woodwool and kapok stuffed – she has a non-working growler. Her pads are generally in good condition with a few stitches and she has had her nose stitching redone and eyes replaced – all done some time ago. She still has a lovely covering of mohair – she is about 80% covered with a bit of general thinning – & she is the loveliest cuddliest looking old bear. She comes as pictured in her vintage clothing and really is as lovely as she looks xxx
Please be aware I am a lover of the tattier old teds with oodles of character so bear this mind before buying – no bear will be perfect – far from it – but I guarantee they are all perfectly adorable. I try to list every bear accurately – if there is anything I forget I can only apologise – I try to put plenty of photos up so please take a good look as these form part of the description. I happily post overseas but anything over 40 in value HAS to be tracked hence overseas postage may seem a lot – if postage is less than quoted I will happily refund the difference.
