Old brown and white growling teddy bear, black button eyes, open mouth, black nose and claws, working growler, straw-filled, moving arms and legs and about 19″ tall. Possibly a German bear. Comes from a private collection of vintage toys now being sold off as part of house clearance.
An unusual old bear, in good/fair condition for age but as you can see from the photos he has been well-loved and his fur is quite worn in many places and his nose is now slightly wrinkly and his white areas are not quite as white as they once were.
Still a good old bear, very cheerful looking, he will cheer you up just looking at his happy face and he has a lovely loud growl when you tip him backwards.
