This is Bertie – a beautiful old English Chiltern bear guaranteed to melt the hardest heart.He is just a tad over 10 inches tall so a much rarer size. He is fully jointed and a mix of woodwool and kapok stuffed with a non-working squeaker. His pads are original and intact and he retains about 35% of his mohair. His face is just adorable – he has a look of wisdom which only comes with having lived a life – and he has original nose and mouth stitching and old glass eyes on wires. There is a tiny area of yellowing to his muzzle area – it doesn’t detract at all from his appearance – the pictures speak for themselves – HE IS BEAUTIFUL!. This little fellow will arrive as attired – he looks all set for a day by the river – just be sure to pack a picnic! :-)
Please be aware I am a lover of the tattier old teds with oodles of character so bear this mind before buying – no bear will be perfect – far from it – but I guarantee they are all perfectly adorable. I try to list every bear accurately – if there is anything I forget I can only apologise – I try to put plenty of photos up so please take a good look as these form part of the description. I happily post overseas but anything over 40 in value HAS to be tracked hence overseas postage may seem a lot – if postage is less than quoted I will happily refund the difference.
