Baxter is an impressive looking old English bear – pre-20’s – I would predict he is 100 years old! (we have looked for his telegram from the Queen but can’t find it :-) He is 13.5 inches tall, fully jointed and largely kapok stuffed with woodwool to his muzzle – he has a non-working squeaker. His pads have all been replaced with felt and he is largely threadbare with patches of mohair here and there. Baxter has had his ears reattached at the back and a little of his nose has been kissed away but in spite of this he is a good, solid, strong bear – still robust! – with a wonderful face and character. Baxter comes as pictured in his old woolie & bell and is looking for his forever home xxxx
Please be aware I am a lover of the tattier old teds with oodles of character so bear this mind before buying – no bear will be perfect – far from it – but I guarantee they are all perfectly adorable. I try to list every bear accurately – if there is anything I forget I can only apologise – I try to put plenty of photos up so please take a good look as these form part of the description. I happily post overseas but anything over 40 in value HAS to be tracked hence overseas postage may seem a lot – if postage is less than quoted I will happily refund the difference.
