Baxter | RARE 18.5″ c1910’s WJ Terry Teddy
This is Baxter! He’s an absolutely superb bear! He was made in the 1910’s by WJ Terry making him overa century old!
He measures around 18.5inches tall, is fully jointed and firmly stuffed with woodwool. Boley has a wonderful snout, and beautiful huge eyes!
WJ Terry bears are rare English bears, and are either often smaller in size, or really delicate “loved” condition! Baxter is in superb all original strong condition. He may have lost some mohair in patches as shown, but he still retains a high amount. He has his original facial and claw stitching, beautiful original painted back glass eyes, loud grunty growler and the most superb pads i have ever seen on a bear of this age!!!
He will travel wearing his antique scarf and royal pin.
He is just a brilliant bear – I’m lost for words how to describe him but he would be a very special addition to a hug!
