DescriptionLovely walking Teddy bear automaton.Made in the early 20th Century, probably in Germany. Not visibly marked but guaranteed to be early and original. The bear has large area’s of fur loss, one of his ears is missing and there is a hand stitched repair along his back (can be seen in photographs). Also, his nose needs re-stitching as does the end of one of his legs.His wind-up mechanism is not currently in working order.
