Maxwell is very old , believed to be an American Bear dating to before the first world war. He has a triangle shaped head and long muzzle.He is made from Bristle mohair and measure 27 inches . He could do with some restoration as his straw stuffing has broken down in places, most notably his snout and top of legs, there is a hole in his leg and repair to his arm. His pads have been recovered at some point. His nose and mouth have almost worn away, and he has boot button eyes which look like replacement but could be original. There is a clunky growler in his body which no longer works. Please study photos as they form part of the description.Maxwell is quite large so postage is a little dearer than normal.
