Percy needs a new home. Hes a really sweet, fully jointed Jopi teddy bear, standing at approx 12 inches. His soft mohair ( I believe) , odour free fur, is quite sparse in parts, quite badly so at the top of his left leg, down the sides of his thighs and sides of torso, so please see all photos. His arm and foot pads appear to be original, though a little worn. When his tummy is pressed, a musical / jingle sound is played, though you have to continue pressing for the sounds to continue and it doesnt seem to be an actual tune. I was told that he was made in the 1920s by Joseph Pitman ( known as Jopi for short) , though Im no expert in Teddy bears, so cant be 100%. He was a lot of money at the time, so I would hope he is collectible! Hes certainly an adorable little bear, looking for a loving new home. Thank you for looking – any questions, please ask.
