A lovely antique Steiff Teddy Bear, 14 inches tall, still retaining his ff button in his ear. Teddy is in fine condition, with original boot button eyes, nose and mouth stitching. He has four stitched claws to each hand and paw and his felt pads have just one small repair to tip of right hand. Teddy is filled with wood wool and has a non working growler in his tum. He has lots of fluffy mohair, really good coverage, but he does have a few areas to his back where the mohair is missing. The main area of loss is left side of back just below arm level with smaller area to bottom of back which can’t be seen when he is seated. (Please see photos, close up of back shown.) Teddy has a really sweet quirky face and expression and he will come to his new home with his bell collar.(Other items in photos are for display only and are not included.)
