A rare, small white mohair Schuco Tricky bear c.1950s, with original chest ribbon but missing his red medallion. Tricky is 20 cms (8″) tall, and stands on card-lined feet. When his little short tail is turned, he moves his head from left to right, as well as nodding up and down. Tricky’s features are all original, including back-painted glass eyes (now worn mostly clear), and embroidered features. Woodwool-stuffed, with a non-working squeaker, his limbs are disc-jointed, and his paws are curved in a playful begging fashion. Apart from some wear to his felt footpads, Tricky is in overall beautiful condition. Giving a ‘nod’ towards autumn, this cute character is dressed in a hand-knitted jumper and hat.
