Antique c.1920s Jopi?/ Cramer? Sitting Mohair Dog Squeezebox Plays a….A lovely antique Mohair dog with a little original felt tongue sticking out. Very firm wood-wool stuffed head, glass eyes, jointed head. Wire framed and wood-wool in the front legs.
Top part of body is a little limp commensurate with it’s age but doesn’t affect its sitting position. Overall a good covering of Mohair except for where the Squeezebox is positioned where the Mohair is sparse where the Squeezebox has been played. No holes in the back felt paws or anywhere obvious. Jopi or Cramer type Squeezebox plays a tune when the top of the dog’s hind legs are squeezed together.
Just under 10 inches tall in its sitting position.
