PLEASE NOTE This lovely large antique bear is being relisted because the winning bidder from a few weeks ago messaged me the day after the auction ended asking me to cancel the sale the reason given was that they hadn’t read the description properly nor had they looked at all the images fully so now they had decided they didn’t want him any more.

This is a well loved Large Antique Chiltern Mohair Bear circa 1920/30’s with a working growler, he’s about 23″ Tall, straw filled with replaced glass eyes and original well worn pads, the feet are large and cardboard lined. He has a mohair patch/insert to the top of his snout a mohair patch on his front and one on his back near his shoulder. He has overall wear, bald patches/stitches and mends, his back seam has been re- stitched and he’s 5 way jointed. This bear is approaching 100 years old and showing his age he is not perfect by any means and has been well loved over his long life. He will arrive wearing his sailor hat which I made for him.
