A very appealing antique Fox Terrier Soft Toy. This is a Chad Valley soft toy manufactured in England under Chad Valley’s Hygienic Toys label.
He measures approximately 12 inches high to the top of his head and 13 inches from nose to tail. He is made from mohair and firmly stuffed with what feels like kapok and wood wool. He is in very good condition for his age having good mohair coverage, and is fresh smelling from a non smoking home. He has been in my collection for a long time and is reluctantly being sold due to lack of display space.There is a repair under one leg, and his growler is inoperative.
Please see all photos which clearly show his condition, please don’t expect him to look new, he is very old and has been much loved. He has the Chad Valley “By Appointment” fabric badge sewn inside his back leg and the “Hygienic Toys) label attached to his neck (shown pinned back in photos so the label can be read but will be sent without the pin)
His little leather collar is original to him. A hard to find collector’s item, he really is lovely!
Postage will be a tracked and Signed For Hermes delivery. He will be carefully packaged in a box to prevent damage in transit.
