This large 24″ / 61cm adorable and very serious looking bear named Albert is attributed to the British maker Chiltern and is know as ” Chiltern Dog Nose Hugmee ” He has short golden mohair fur and is stuffed woodwool. He has no paw pads this is due to them trying to save fabric at the time of manufacture in the 40s. But he does have (original ) felt feet pads. He has no claws at all. His nose and in my opinion his best feature is made of “Bakelite” and is what gives him the name dog nose. He has cupped ears, long snout, glass eyes, fully jointed and well stuffed.He is generally in good play worn condition. Ears have been restitched in places.Albert is a very endearing bear who stands out in a crowd and who is sure to please the ladies. I am very charmed by old dog nose. He’s a handsome chap who just oozes charm and who is looking for his forever home.Please study the photos carefully as they form a large part of the description.
