This is an antique or vintage toy dog walker. Made circa 1930 by Merrythought in England. This is one of their hygienic branded toys and one the early Merrythought products. He is hard stuffed and very solid. His fur is probably mohair or blended with mohair. His eyes are glass and his nose stitched. He sits on a blue and cream enamelled stand with rubber and enamelled wheels. He pushes along nicely and is great combination of age and condition. There are bald patches and his frame has surface corrosion see photos. He might be modelled on a Parson Russell Terrier.
