Wonderful early antique teddy bear.Dating circa 1910-1920I am unsure of maker or which country he originates.Lovely bright golden almost orange mohair.Measuring 27″ from pads to tips of ears.Entirely filled with wood wool with an inoperative clonky growler inside.Original glass eyes with the remains of painted backs.One is cracked but stable and has no roughness to the touch.Original bat winged stitched nose and mouth intact.One ear looks as if it may have been resewn on slightly wrong angle.Five way jointed and all joints turn with head being loose but stable.Long snout and please note the bald patches above and below his nose.Original cotton pads with some small holes to all three pads and one pad being replaced.Long barrel shaped body with short arms and quite long straight legs.Quite an interesting and charming old bear!Lovely addition to your hug of vintage and antique bears and chums.From smoke free home.Any questions please ask.Please note U.K shipping only due to size and weight.
