Meet Sabrina, a lovely old teddy bear who is 19 tall and who probably dates from the 1930s. She is patched in a few places – on her feet, arm, tummy and face and she has new foot pads, too. Her pointy snout has been re-stuffed and a nose created out of black felt with new mouth stitching. Some parts of her are firmly stuffed (especially her head) but other areas are softer, so probably newer stuffing. Her eyes are light amber glass and could be original, its hard to say for sure. Although her upper paw pads are velvet, they look like they were re-covered a long time ago. She is fully jointed and all are moving, but some are very stiff and dont really want to move. She is dressed in an old lacy nightie and a lovely dark red velvet coat – both look vintage. Sabrina is a lovely bear, but I dont know her maker. Shes looking for a new home.Really sorry, will only post within the UK.
