Offered tonight are a range of vintage children’s books, games and toys.
This one is: A lovely little bear, standing just 3 inches (8 cm) tall. He/she appears to be made of a moulded material (papier mache??), which has been covered in plush. He has eyes which seem to be plastic, rather than glass, and a sweet little nose. Tricky to date; I’ve plumped for 1920s, but I could be wrong either way… He/she has a hollow interior, so is extremely light. Pretty amazing survivor – and very very sweet!
