Cheeky is a rare 1960s Merrythought Cheeky Pyjama Case from my own collection. These bears dont come up for sale very often and this one has all his original features together with his original white regd. design foot label. His metal zip opens easily but does not close too well without the aid of some pliers to tease the teeth together, therefore he is being sold assuming the ZIP IS NOT IN FULL WORKING ORDER. The inside case is lined with a peach quilted fabric which is in good condition and has been firmly filled with polyester wadding making him quite a heavy bear. His head and limbs are filled with the original filling which is presumably kapok. He has a bald area and stain to his upper right arm and a bald patch to his tummy otherwise he has an excellent covering of thick golden long pile mohair and overall he is in lovely clean condition.

As he is now a collectors teddy bear he is no longer suitable for young children.
