Gorgeous vintage Steiff German Shepard ‘Arco’, dating from 1950s-1960s,
made of blonde mohair with airbrushed features,
feels to be stuffed with wood-wool and kapok throughout the body and wood-wool in the head,
unjointed, in permanent lying position,
original clear and black glass eyes with reddish brown backs,insert ‘masque’ muzzle,
vertical nose stitching,
open felt mouth with airbrushed details and red felt tongue (please note there’s nibble on the end of tongue).
Airbrushed pads to back legs,original claws stitching to all limbs.
Arco is approx. 14″ (35 cm) long (without tail).
Condition – item is in good vintage condition with some general wear, thinning and few balding spots.
