Old Vintage Musical Teddy Bear. Vintage Antique Teddy Bear.Larry is a characterful 15 inch musical vintage teddy bear with a very cheeky look to his face ! He stands about 15 inches tall and has a good coverage of golden mohair, with some thinning at the seams.Larry has a straw filled head and stitched features along with his original amber and black plastic eyes. He is five way jointed with good joint connections. His paw pad covering are quite thin and need some attention and he has a visible seam repair to his tummy of about 3 inches, as well as to his leg. The back of his head has taken a small graze of about centimetre. Larry’s body is soft stuffed, I think with a mixture of kapok and sub filling ? And it has shifted a bit, which has earned him the name ” Lop Sided Larry”. His music box is in good working order and plays the Brahms lullaby – Go to sleep.Larry does show signs of age and lovewear, and is not intended to be used as a toy as he does not have the safety features associated with modern teddy bears.I am usually able to post promptly , however I do not usually post on Saturdays.
