A Merrythought 5 way jointed golden mohair teddy bear.Approx length 21″ as picture with measure.Merrythought Hygienic Toys Made in England label to footpad which suggests a date of 1930-45.Shaved muzzle, two glass eyes one of which has a couple of scratches.Dropped stitch design to nose, webbed claws on paws & 3 black stitches to each foot.Felt pads which are in good vintage condition, no moth holes or repairs to them.Woodwool/kapok filled.( Slight sagging to tops of arms and top of trunk) but still sits well.Chest squeaker still works and has had plenty of use( wear to mohair in this area front & back)No bad smells etc.His mohair has not been cleaned in anyway but there is plenty of it, I will leave that to next owner.
