Vintage c. 1930 – 40sThought to be:Gebruder Bing Mohair Teddy Bear
This was my mothers teddy bear, all throughout my childhood ( I was born 1957) it was a at my grandmothers house (born 1910) and all the family knew it was my mothers teddy bear. When grandmother died in 1992 it came to live at mothers house. We all played with him over all the years, he is worn and tired but Still smiles at us all, the now grown up grandchildren x 6 of us. Mother passed in 2010 and now its mine as eldest grandchild. My mother was born in January 9th 1938 and this teddy was hers from her youngest recollections.We think its a Gebruder Bing Mohair Teddy Bear.
Teddy Edward is his name and he needs hospital care and mending, repairs and restoration.
Sold without the cumberland, bow tie, clothes.Selling the Teddy Bear as seen.
Sadly I do not seem to be able to find a photo of Mum with her teddy bear Teddy Edward.
