I have for sale a vintage Sooty type bear by Chad Valley.
He is 9″ tall with glass eyes, original stitching to nose and mouth.
He has rexine paws, worn in places. His mohair fur is balding in places, but he still retains a fairly good covering for his age. I’m not sure of his age but if he does represent Sooty then it will be the 1950’s.
Firmly stuffed throughout with woodwool. Four way jointed, his head is fixed in position.
He still has his chest label – white with blue writing – it says Hygenic Toys. Made in England by The Chad Valley Company.
A lovely little bear in good vintage condition.
