A lovely bear by Chad Valley, the blue label in his side seam dates him to the 1950’s.
He is in good condition for his 60+ years. His golden mohair has thinned in places rather than outright bald patches, many areas still have a good thick covering. He has large glass eyes, original stitched nose and mouth. His snout is missing some stuffing. His head is stuffed with wood wool and the rest of him with kapok. He is five-way jointed.
Three of his paws have the original rexine covering, I think the rexine on his left arm paw is a replacement. On his left foot you can see where a label was.
He is 20″ tall.
