Wonderful large Tara teddy bear made during the 1940s with remains of Republic of Ireland label on left foot.
Stuffed with kapok stuffing throughout and made from a wonderful gold coloured mohair – actual colour much, much brighter than in photos!!
Original brown/black glass eyes with remains of black stitched nose and mouth. Slouches nowadays – could do with a little more stuffing under neck joint – but this does add to his lovely character!!
In need of pad replacements – left arm has been shortened in the past, but I think is all there – just needs pads sorting out!!
