Vintage Irish Tara Toys character mohair teddy bear, dating from 1950s
made of gold mohair,
feels to be stuffed with kapok throughout the body and head, wood-wool in the muzzle,
fully jointed,
has got original orange and black glass eyes,pronounced muzzle,
black vertically stitched nose, inverted V shape mouth stitching,
original painted cloth pads in good condition,
there’s no claws stitching,
little remains of original white red woven label stitched into left foot pad seam.
Teddy Bear is approx. 22″ (56 cm) tall.
Condition – item is in vintage condition with general wear, thinning and balding, repairs to mohair to the back.
