This is “Monty” a little bear who is looking for a loving new owner. He has been in my collection for around 30 years.
He is 11″ tall, has a coat of brown mohair with very good overall covering for his age. No obvious bald parts.
He is straw or excelsior filled throughout, fully jointed and with dark brown velvet fabric paws and footpads in good condition
He has amber coloured glass eyes with black pupils on wire and a black stitched nose and mouth
A feature of this bear is a stitched seam around each ankle. I believe him to be around 1920s – 1930s
