Monty is the most adorable 1930s Merrythought bear with the early hook nose stitches, webbed claws and he retains his Merrythought label to foot. 19 inches in height, he has glass eyes, original pads and excellent nose, mouth stitching retained (one loose stitch). Monty has a such a kind endearing expression and although his joints are a tiny bit floppy from play he sits (and slumps!) beautifully. His fur is good and clean for years with expected areas of balding/wear. Non working growler in his tummy. Monty wears his favourite waistcoat that my mum knitted for him
