Adorable vintage bear made in the 1950s/60s by Chad Valley/Chiltern.
He is a gorgeous rich gold colour (much nicer than my photos) his velveteen paw pads are all original and perfect. He has a stitched mouth and plastic eyes. His nose is Gutta-percha which is a tough plastic substance, a bit like rubber, made from latex of several trees and often used for Teddy Bears noses. He is 19 inches high and his fur coverage is nearly 100% with just a small bald patch on the back of his head (see photo). He is firmly stuffed with no sagging or shifting of his stuffing. He has a non working growler. Perfectly clean and no odours, a lovely old boy.From a non smoking environment
