Vintage 1940’s Teddy Bear with Issues

In Good Vintage Condition with some issues as listed below

” Bertie ” has been well loved in his lifetime. He has loads of character and can of course be left as he is or with a little help he can find his mojo again
He is 14″ tall and retains his original rexine pads which are down to the cotton backing and have some old repairs and minor splits . His head is wood wool stuffed, noting the area behind his nose is not as full as it once was, which means his muzzle / nose is flatter and doesn’t hold it’s original full shape – you could say this is his history and character or maybe that he needs a little face lift! He has already, before my time had his nose sympathetically / partially re-embroidered
Bertie has blonde mohair fur which is sparse, as per the actual photographs
His body, arms and legs are soft filled. Both arms appear thin in size around his ‘elbows’ which is due to less filling in that area
Bertie is fully jointed and sits well. His has amber and black eyes
I am continuing to de-clutter my collection of old bears. Bertie been stored in a box in my attic for the last 7 years, since I moved home and is now looking for a new loving home
I am virus free and have been self isolating since the end of February
I post via Hermes / Packlink, which will be collected from me and delivered to you (please note, I am not responsible for any delay once the parcel is booked for collection, which I do the same day as the payment is received)
I endeavour to re-cycle packaging, my bit to help save the world and to keep costs down
