Genuine 1935 mohair Bingie Sitting Cub. 13 inches in height plenty of fur, felt pads with a few holes but still intact. Really gorgeous early Merrythought flag ship bear. This little guy is a rare example as he is actually a night dress case, and still has his zip. Most of these bears have been restuffed and sewn up over the years so few survive in original condition.. He has his original glass eyes and embroidered nose . his silk lining is a bit tatty with a few holes, I have filled the cavity with soft stuffing so he can sit up. I am selling him at a reasonable price as some of his left ear is missing, it would be an easy repair but I like to keep my bears as original as possible.
